Tonal Vision Productions

Do you have an idea, skill, information or hobby that you believe would be of interest to a broad number of people? Is the content something that is most effectively communicated visually?

Tonal Vision has several hobby/training DVDs on the market that are selling well. We have established a relationship with a number of distributors and believe there is a market for this kind of material. We believe our productions could be even more successful if we had a larger series that we could advertise. As a result, we are looking to partner with experts or skilled artisans to create additional titles.

Proposed Partnership Terms:

• Tonal Vision will provide all production-related services, including pre-production planning, shooting, editing, graphics, music, and DVD mastering. We will pay all expenses involved in these services except out-of-pocket travel expenses (if any).
• You provide the topic and expertise to produce the DVD. You work with us to develop and execute a plan for producing the DVD, acting as technical owner of the content. You provide a spokesperson (can be you), any additional people needed in the video, and any equipment or materials, e.g., cameras, costumes, performance space.
• You pay us only for out-of-pocket travel expenses and the 1st 1,000 replicated DVDs (~$2,000).
• We jointly own the copyright on the finished production and share the income on a 50/50 basis after expenses. (Expenses include a share of advertising, distribution costs and replication costs for subsequent DVD batches.)

Stipulations:

• Tonal Vision reserves the right to accept or reject projects based on our judgement of whether the topic as presented is marketable and whether the proposed partner will effectively carry out their responsibilities as content owner.
• The partnership takes effect when we agree on an outline, production plan and shoot date(s). A $2,000 deposit is due at that time.
