“Mice in the Attic” is Tonal Vision’s multi-camera live streaming program designed to showcase the depth and breadth of Baltimore’s music scene and to give up and coming artists the opportunity for broader exposure. Alex Carle is the host of the series.
“Mice in the Attic” broadcasts from Tonal Vision’s third floor “attic” studio in Fell's Point, Baltimore, MD. Performers represent a variety of musical genres, instruments and ethnicities/cultures, with a strong focus on new and/or undiscovered artists. Each "Mice in the Attic" episode streams live to Facebook (@MiceInAttic) every other Thursday from 7:00-7:30 pm. Our first episode was Oct. 25, 2018. Tonal Vision promotes each performance in advance on Facebook and Instagram to raise awareness and increase viewership. Performers receive an HD copy of the episode (via Vimeo download), photo of themselves from the performance (via Facebook download), and recognition on Facebook, Instagram, our web page (www.MiceInTheAttic.US), and in promotional emails and advertising. In addition, your live video is permanently catalogued on our web page and in a YouTube playlist for later viewing.
“Mice in the Attic” is designed to promote original artists, and all the material you perform must be original. We are also not able to stream cover songs for legal reasons. Acts are invited to incorporate other art forms into their performance, but we want to keep music as the focus of the show.
The studio where we will be streaming is located on the third floor and is roughly 12’x12’. Because of the limited space, and narrow stairs leading up to it, we are best equipped to record smaller acts with smaller acoustic instruments. We will provide an electric piano and a small amp, so you do not need to bring these. If you are interested in performing with a larger instrument, such as a standing bass or a large bass drum, or if you act contains more than 5 people, please discuss this with us before booking a performance.
