Booking Agreement

Welcome to Mice in the Attic! We’re very excited to have you perform with us on [DATE]. To make sure your experience on the show is as easy as possible, we want to give you a general idea of what to expect.

Your "Mice in the Attic" episode will stream live to Facebook from Tonal Vision from 7:00-7:30. Tonal Vision is located at 1607 Lancaster St, Baltimore, MD 21231 in a row house in Fell’s Point built in the mid-1800’s. Please arrive at 6:00 so we can get everything ready by the time we air at 7:00. Free parking is available on on the street (2 hour limit) if there are open spots. There is also metered parking on Broadway and Thames Streets and a low cost ($5) parking garage on Caroline St. just south of Lancaster. Two hours of free on-street parking should be enough for the broadcast, but if you do end up needing to pay to park, we will reimburse you.

In addition to stuffed and animated mice, Tonal Vision has two actual live dogs, Penny and Joey, who will want to greet and play with you. If you have dog allergies or are afraid of dogs, please let us know in advance.

Just a reminder of the basic requirements for the show:

  • Bring a maximum of 5 performers (unless we’ve worked this out in advance). Our 12’x12’ studio cannot accommodate more than this.
  • We do not have viewing space for friends who would like to watch the show. If you do bring friends, They’ll need to watch the stream from downstairs.
  • Do not bring a keyboard, large instruments (e.g., standing bass or large bass drum), or large amps. There is narrow stairway to the 3rd floor, and these may not fit. The studio will provide an electric piano and a small amp. If you have any questions or concerns, please discuss them with us in advance.
  • Perform only original material. We cannot legally stream cover songs and will interrupt your performance if you include one without discussing it with us in advance.
  • You are welcome to incorporate other art forms, such as dance or poetry, into your act. However, we want to keep music as the focus of the show.

Alex Carle will begin the episode by introducing you, including a rundown of your biography. In between songs, he will go on camera again to ask questions (both his own and from the online audience). To make sure we promote you the right way, please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. 1-2 weeks in advance:

  • The biography you’d like me to work from, and
  • A graphic of you that we can display. This can be a photo, the cover from your latest album, your logo, or anything else you’d like to have represent you.

Also, please provide Alex with answers to the following questions

  • What is your genre?
  • What is a ‘fun fact’ you would like your audience to know? (Some take this as an opportunity to mention a new record or promote an upcoming show, but you can choose any ‘fun fact’ you like.)

Remember to invite your friends to this Facebook event (@MiceInAttic).

If for any reason you are unable to perform on this date and need to reschedule, let us know ASAP. We’ll be spending money promoting your performance and don’t want to disappoint you fans.
